| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 27, 2006 A slip of the lip may sink a ship, but htsprint1 would have made Freud chuckle when he called this one "Crimson DooDoo" at our last meeting. I didn’t think it was that bad. There is a reddish hue to a caramel-brown body and a tan head fades quickly to an oily film. Aroma of prune, raisin and sherry plus butterscotch in aroma and flavor that doesn’t offend. Oily mouthfeel with a touch of vinegar and stale malts. All together reminded me of an "Old Ale".
