It’s nice they brought back the Dixie name too bad it’s from some place in WI. Oh well this beer isn’t anything to write home about but it is very drinkable. Wouldn’t buy again morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Amber color...tiny head. Light grain aroma and flavor. Minimal body, hops, malt. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 1, 2008 Sweet cereal lager aroma. Somewhat cheap smelling. Slightly darker than yellow, not amber. A throwback 50’s style label. Grainy, an odd honey twang, An intense seltzery carbonation without foaming over or frothing - odd. In fact, the bittering strikes me more as CO2 than hops. Quick, cereal finish. It’s not bad, it’s just not that good. New Leaf Market. Hope Dixie gets their brewery back together. Collint (460), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 29, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a yellowish ew. Simple beer caramel and honey, watered down. This is what I expected from the Minhas Brewery. Very boring beer. Ughsmash (4060), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Bottled. Poured bright and fizzy medium golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma was sweet and simple with honey, corn, and pale malts.. faint grassy hops accent. The flavor began with sharp carbonation amplifying grassy bitterness.. the carbonation was too prevalent throughout, not allowing the malts to really settle in on the middle.. fizzy, tacky, sweet finish. Nothing offensive here, but nothing good either. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 22, 2008 Tallahassee, Fl. - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Light to medium golden pour with a slight white head - not much bubble action. Slightly tinny aroma, hint of grain. Flavor is typical low carb tasteless. Hints of metal and some low calorie syrup. Industrial like mouthfeel - like hard water - not spritzy like some other low carb lagers. Forgettable.
