Commercial Description:
Editor’s note: Brewed by Djævlebryg at Brøckhouse, Hillerød, Denmark.

English: An accumbent experience; that is one way of describing the adventure ’Nekron’. A discrete smoky character from both peat and beech smoked malt defines the bottom layer. In the middle, a light caramel sweetness and the vinous alchohol take over. The roasted malts and barley add notes of coffee, chocolate, and roasted rye bread. The moderate hop bitterness mixes willingly with the whole. Nekron can easily stand alone but enjoys the company of heavier dishes or chocolate rich desserts.

500 ml bottle. Black, but lets some brown light through. Clear. Tall light beige head that clings to the glass. Bready and milky with lots of dark chocolate and espresso. Soft texture. Low carbonation level. Lots of rich roasted malts. Alcohol is definitely there, but is really well hidden. Feels thick, but not at all cloying. Sharp hops in the finish. Nice, but the bitterness is a tad high.
