Bottle, 4.5%. Sweet banana candy aroma. Almost clear pale yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite sweet, some banana candy, a little perfumy.

No 631 Rated 05 12 2008 Bottle brown, 330 ml, pasteurized, contains banana, banana flavour, malted barley, wheat, hops, Appearance Pours pale golden, practically yellowish, highly carbonated body, exture of the body is clear, head is snowy white, initially medium, slowly decreasing to small, but thick, compact and long lasting with hints of lacing, head is frothy in texture, Aroma is dominated by the artificial banana, real gelatine, artificial very harsh sweetness, very simple and stright foward, plain, just nothing more, Flavour extremely sweet front, banana flavour of natural origin mixes itself and is violated by artificial banana flavour, very weak notes of hops, banana is very offensively sweet at front but later on it is not that bad on palate as it seems more balanced with notes of accidity and tart flavour, slightly notes of green apple in nose at finish, not as overly sweet as for example Jablonowo Banana Beer, finish duration is quite long with notes of banana and green apple bubble gum, Palate body is light to medium, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is lively, finish feel is harshly sweet with dominating, strong notes of banana and green apple, not the worst Fruit Beer but the least admirable as reffered to other Belgian beers that I tried

Bottle 33cl in Berlin. The beer is actually brewed in Belgium for the New Allied African Breweries in Ghana. Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma is filled with banana and light notes of wheat. The taste is filled with sugary banana and light malts with a little touch of chocolat/caramel and lightly hoppy. The taste is rather unique. It is well above some low end fruit beers but still has too much of added aromas. I aslo applaud the idea of brewing the beer for the African market. I could not really notice the beer and instead got more of this dry-banana that reminded me more of a soda. It is refreshing and sugary, but leaves a long lasting banana aftertaste.
