Although I seem to be partial to gold ales, must be my royal blood, although my blood is far from blue my teeth say otherwise? At any rate, This beer is quite enjoyable. Pours golden with medium white head. Aroma and flavor of sweet hops and some malty taste. Body is quenchable. Enjoyment. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 18, 2007 This one is only Golden in Color - I think its actually an American Pale ale per the description listed on the beer board at Dock street. An oaked APA? Its pretty nice if you ask me. Aroma is very citrusy with some bready malts and some light oak detectable. Flavor is very citrusy and acidic (in a good way) and just assertive enough to go with most pub fare. Nice mouthfeel. I want to know more about this one! highpoint (23), lansdowne, Pennsylvania, USA
