| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 18, 2007 This one is only Golden in Color - I think its actually an American Pale ale per the description listed on the beer board at Dock street. An oaked APA? Its pretty nice if you ask me. Aroma is very citrusy with some bready malts and some light oak detectable. Flavor is very citrusy and acidic (in a good way) and just assertive enough to go with most pub fare. Nice mouthfeel. I want to know more about this one! adrian910ss (1435), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

I instantly thought "oh great, another sucky pale lager", but was plesantly surprised to find a complex, almost belgian style beer. Lovely mouthfeel, interesting hop additions, and smooth drinkability. I was sad my glass was empty! Hawksfan17 (718), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
