Draft at brewpub. This is a gluten free beer brewed with sorghum and buckwheat.. Pours a pale golden with no head. Light bodied with some watery texture. This beer is sweet with some subtle toastiness and a low hopping rate. Finish is slightly tart and cidery, but with some rubbing alcohol as well. Different, but not my thing. Give me back my gluten.

Aug 14, 2008 Meh. I remember this brew as being extremely conflicted. Some might say unique and it would deserve a higher score but I find it disjointed with a very soft almost flat palate, some spiciness but altogether bland and sometimes unrecognizable as a beer.

Aug 14, 2008 A beer brewed primarily with sorgum and buckwheat. Cloudy and unfiltered, it was unlike anything I’d ever tried before. Some interesting yeasty notes, sweet, almost sour on the palate. Thin body, but seems like it would work as a thirst quenching summer beer. I seem to remember the color as being almost orange.

Jul 30, 2008 From the tap poured a hazy straw color with a good amount of head. Nice flavor almost tart with a lingering aftertaste.

Jun 25, 2008 Golden color with an interesting grainy aroma that is very raw. Flavor has some buckwheat, raw grains, light citrus. Not bad for what it is.
