BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Jul 17, 2008 What is it with this town and Honey Lagers? This is like the 4th one I’ve seen today. For being made with honey, I cannot detect any real honey notes in the nose, kind of a sweetish maltiness from the honey though. This is almost undrinkable.
fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 2, 2008 Draught at the brewpub Hazy blond color, no head. It has a sweetish malt aroma. The flavor is quite simple, but there is a nice sweetness, even if not honey, to make it easily drinkable. mnurda (354), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Aug 20, 2007 On Tap at Alfie’s 40th Birthday. Tried all theier beers, and none were really noteworthy. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Aug 1, 2007 This beer sure had honey in it and to put it mildly, this made it way too sweet and hard to get past the first couple of sips. harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 15, 2006 On tap at Dockside. Gold, thin white head. Honey on aroma. Really a bit too sweet and artificial. Bit nasty.
