BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jul 17, 2008 A little weak and kind of bridges the gap stylistically between an American Wheat and a German Hefe. Not a lot in the nose, you can distinguishthe malt proflie, but not alot of the yeasty spiciness.
fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 2, 2008 Draught at the brewpub Hazy blond color; nice lace. Served with a lemon wedge, and it’s a pity to cover the aroma, because there is some nice malt and toffee. The flavor is worse than the aroma, with some malt, but spoiled by a very harsh bitterness, too strong and nasty. Sammy (3075), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 21, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. A poor hefe. Lacey, and the wheat is there is appearance. It is fresh. Rather light in mouthfeel for the style and they didn’t get it. mnurda (352), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Aug 20, 2007 On Tap at Alfie’s 40th Birthday. Tried all theier beers, and none were really noteworthy. harrisoni (5129), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 15, 2006 On tap at Dockside. Gold, with thin white head. Wheat, cereal, lemon aroma. Quite agile in mouth. Bit of toffee malt. Quite a nice wheaty finish. Not as intense as some, but drinkable. Good wheat beer aroma. Moderate hop presence on end.
