Pours a near clear with a touch of green, no head, not very bubbly either... Aroma of tart green apples with a touch of pear, quite aromatic, very pleasing... Flavor profile follows nicely with not much noticable pear... Tart, not sweet at all, good mouthfeel...

Perfectly clear with a hue of light yellow. Aroma is like wine, but other fruits than grapes are noticeable. Taste is light and crisp with fruit and honey. Finish is like Juicy-Fruit™, but not overly sweet at all. Very refreshing and could be mixed with other, higher alcohol beverages.

Pours a fading to nothing ring of white, champagne-like head with a clear, pale body. Aromas of pear, apples, floral, little sharp. Ditto for the flavor but with some vegetal, spicy, notes. Finish is that of dried apples.

Bottle shared with the barrios, scottyp, curly. Pours a near clear with just the palest hue of gold and great clarity. The nose has a great light spiciness like that of nutmeg or cinnamin, but just barely. Flavor is like sugared pears but with typical apple cider qualities. Sweet, but refreshing and not cloying on the palate. Very effervescent. I enjoyed this very much. But admittedly, I don’t have very much experience with the perry style.

Pours a clear, light chardonnay color with no head. Aroma of yeast, pear, apple. Similar taste, very crisp with an light finish that doesn’t linger. Pleasantly surprised actually

Nice painting on the label of a pear and a horse and carriage. This looks like white wine and has a light, sweet, winey aroma. Doc’s tastes like a high quality wine cooler (remember those?). A light pear flavor and a bit of sourness. Unfortunately, it is a little watery. Not bad, just not very exciting.

Bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow with a bit of a white head while pouring, but that falls off quite fast and only little hints of white are nested on the edges of the glass. Big pear notes, with a bit of champagne yeast, and a bit of apple. Nice smooth pear, reminding me of the kind you got in a can as a kid, soft and falling apart, and soaked in that overly ripe syrup. This has a nice crisp tartness to it, keeping it from going overly cloying. A little on the thing side, but it’s a light drink, not needing to be big and heavy.

Not taking a Shangy’s suggestion again. This was not as advertised. It wasn’t awful either. The aroma is muted, but obvious tart aromas. The appearance was nice in a champagne glass, nice effervescent bubble trails, but the head just faded way too fast. The flavor is pleasant, a nice sweet-tart flavor, not noticeably pear, could have easily been advertised as apple. The effervescence is ok.
