musher (5), Delaware, Ohio, USA does not count Sep 5, 2008 Almost undrinkable. Actually completely undrinkable. Incredibly syrupy like drinking corn syrup. No hop aroma whatsoever. Taste is not pleasant at all. A complete novelty in mm opinion. Where are all the hops? Don’t waste your money! AgentSteve (1334), SF Bay Area, California, USA Sep 5, 2008 Updated: Nov 4, 2009Pours medium copper with no head. The nose is powerful pineapple and floral hops. The flavor goes overripe pineapple juice, honey and apricot. Viscous on the palate, and HOT! kappldav123 (1788), Markkleeberg, Germany Sep 5, 2008 The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Very complex aroma, velvet and alcohol. Tastes modest velvety, then intense hoppy and strong alcoholic, very intense. Very scratchy finish. Great experience!
Thanks to jjpm74 for that bottle! dwaggs2 (530), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Aug 31, 2008 Updated: Apr 13, 2009Bottle. Pours an orange color with a faint white head. Leaves some lacing on the side of this glass. Aroma is hoppy and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, fruit, citrus, alcohol and grass. This beer warms you up as you drink it. Not as hoppy as I thought it would be but good never the less savnac (392), Palmer, Alaska, USA Aug 30, 2008 Updated: Mar 1, 2009Smells of alcohol and prunes. Cloudy orange with a white head and a bit of darker sediment that came out at the end. The taste is surprisingly smooth for the alcohol content, sweet and almost like a desert wine, not as hoppy as I thought. Thick mouth feel and hardly carbonated. Very unique but almost transcends the beer category. Is this worth the price? imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA Aug 29, 2008 06. Pour is murky and cloudy with not much head. Aromas of sweet malt, sugar, and alcohol. Flavor is a straight up MALT BOMB! All alcohol and malt. Down the drain this guy went. knights97 (80), Tennessee, USA Aug 27, 2008 This is one monster beer, pours to a cloudy amber body, smells of hops and strong liquor taste, has a small white head that dissipates quickly. From the first sip, this is more of a desert beer that you’d want to enjoy over time, with every taste, the hops are present, along with a sweet alcohol taste, that goes down smooth but has a nice burning like many liquors too, loved the beer but my palate is not used to something this strong, rbod (25), Davie, Florida, USA Aug 26, 2008 This IPA, is quite boozy, but amazing. You still get a full hoppy flavor. Definitely recommend.
