Ramenen (453), San Salvador, El Salvador Jun 14, 2008 Bottle. Medium almost fully bodied. very sirupy. Very sweet and rum like. almost like a dessert wine (porto). grandridge (222), Port Clinton, Ohio, USA Jun 14, 2008 Pours orange with almost no head. Aroma is hops, sweet fruit, and alcohol. Flavor is over the top sweetness and bitterness. Alcohol is covered up well by the immense sweetness but I wouldn’t call this one balanced by a long shot. Interesting beer that is fun to try. I’ll like to see how the one in my celler tastes after five years probally like sugar water. Edmoe (126), Orlando, Florida, USA Jun 14, 2008 I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to rate this one...Pours amber/orange with very little head. Aroma smells strongly of apricots...sweet w/ alcohol. Taste is very interesting...less beer tasting, more apricot liqueur. Alcohol is apparent but not obvious (as I would expect from 21%). Nice mouth feel that finishes mostly clean ( a tad bitterness lingers). A very good beer that , at 21%, is deceptively drinkable. Impressive but also potentially dangerous:) rcasta (470), El Salvador Jun 13, 2008 Felicidades gordo gracias hawie es la ganadora. De la noche q me recuerda a mis estudios en londres. Right ghawener (952), San Salvador, El Salvador Jun 13, 2008 thanks to ramenen. bottle. 600! ratings. like aunt jemima with alcohol. rateberians gathering in san Salvador. carruthm (1109), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 13, 2008 V - cloudy orange with light head
A - lavender, alcohol, pine, floral, honey
T - alcohol, sweetness,
P - Love it. The alcohol serves to warm everything up 12many (231), Ohio, USA Jun 12, 2008 Since the hops take a backseat to the sweet (and very drinkable) alcohol I wouldn’t say this was the ’Holy Grail’. However this beer was delicious and will quickly put you in a good mood. JCannery82 (3), , Alabama, USA does not count Jun 11, 2008 Love the aroma and the color. For the hoppy description of the brewing it really didn’t deliver the bite I was expecting. It was a little syrupier (add that to websters) than I’m used to on the palate, but the flavor was very complex with plenty of fruits to find. It grew on me as I drank it more and more. Hope that wasn’t just the 21% clouding my judgement.
