So i did, and i must say....SEX in a bottle. EASILY the best beer I have drank...perfect in every way ....If i had the money this is ALL i would drink. AMAZING! Like an orgasm in your mouth. I am truely in awe.
Bottled of course. WELL worth the 8 bucks. I would gladly pay the same again. I cannot say enough about the epic greatness of this beer. mesperon (151), Jersey City, New Jersey, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | May 23, 2009 Hazy orange/amber with gold edges. Light head with a bit of lacing. Lots of grapefruit, sweet orange, and fresh bread, a bit of piney hops on the nose. Velvety mouthfeel. Just a bit of bite on the front of the tongue, quickly disappears into a very grapefruity, sweet citrus, and a bit of herbal hops. Very surprisingly, the hops are not obnoxiously overdone. The peppery alcohol is very dominant, but the 21% is VERY well hidden. Bitterness of cooked apple on the finish. I am very pleasantly surprised by this beer. I expected it to be obnoxious and puckering with alcohol and hops. It is very well balanced, especially for the strength, and it drinks pretty easy. Although I have a decent buzz after half a bottle, I can drink a few of these. ILoveNewBeer (113), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Pours a beautiful hazzy brown in color, with a fluffy white head. Hoppy to the nose with a hint of the proof.
Full bodied, full flavored and amazing. The hops just come out and punch you in the mouth! This truly is the Holy Gr. . ale. Jimrbb (16), USA

This concoction has 21% of alcohol !!!! Wow, that’ something.
Very good at least. recommended tomspalla (8), Orange Beach, Michigan, USA does not count | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Aug 27, 2009 This beer is not for the inexperienced craft beer drinker or those that just think they like IPAs. If you don’t love IPAs, this beer will be lost/wasted on you. It is highly complex and is best shared with those with similar tastes. You’ll each experience something different in its flavors. Allow it to warm in your mouth for new tastes. PolakPorter (83), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jan 7, 2009 I recently had my second 120 Minute. My first may have been consumed before my taste buds were ready for such a monster. This time around, I was ready to kick some ass. The wonderfully refreshing aroma is worthy of being an air freshener. The taste is a delicious infusion of sweet grapefruits, apricots, honey, melon, Gran Marnier, caramel, St. Germain, robust port, and I swear there’s just a hint of fresh, young pussy. It’s amazing how well the hops counteract the aggressive malt. Leave the beer bong alone for this badboy. Take your time and enjoy. My most recent 120 was consumed while watching Neil Young bust out an epic Cortez the Killer. Well worth the pain in the ass of sneaking it in. In the end, my 120 Minute only lasted about 20 minutes. Slightly disappointing. This is without question the best beer to sneak into a concert/sporting event/any venue that charges $7 for a Bud Light. This also means it is in the running for ’best beer ever.’ Thank you Dogfish Head for being crazy enough to concoct this little slice of heaven. Well worth the $10 I paid for each bottle. I had my dad try it but he found it a bit much for him so lucky me...I got both! Head is virtually absent, flavor is very hoppy and strongly characterized by citrus, almost pine flavors...what I would call the ’bright side’ of hop flavors. The flavor lingers and isn’t at all imposing, rather very light and sweet. A must drink for any fan of IPAs.
