spud1987 (46), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Sep 6, 2008 Floral aroma, you can also smell the alcohol. Great appearance, cloudy orange amber color with a one finger white head. Flavor is good, I wasn’t shocked by the alcohol but that may be because I was expecting something outrageous at 21%. Flavor isn’t too complex, a very thick mouth feel. Overall, not a bad beer. I’m glad I tried it and probably would again. BenDover (96), Ohio, USA Sep 6, 2008 Pours a very cloudy orange, no head whatsoever. Aroma is pungently hoppy and floral. The taste... alcohol, hops, alcohol, a bit of sweetness like honey, alcohol, alcohol, and alcohol. Good, interesting, but the 90-minute is better. And cheaper. greenhorn1 (370), Eugene, Oregon, USA Sep 5, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a very cloudy copper with a thin whispy head. So where do I begin, this is one big beer. Aroma of alcohol and citrus. Flavor is citrus, alcohol, and very sweet. I guess I gotta give props for making a somewhat drinkable beer at 21%, but it is almost too much. musher (5), Delaware, Ohio, USA does not count Sep 5, 2008 Almost undrinkable. Actually completely undrinkable. Incredibly syrupy like drinking corn syrup. No hop aroma whatsoever. Taste is not pleasant at all. A complete novelty in mm opinion. Where are all the hops? Don’t waste your money! AgentSteve (786), Livermore, California, USA Sep 5, 2008 Pours medium copper with no head. The nose is powerful pineapple and floral hops. The flavor goes overripe pineapple juice, honey and apricot. Viscous on the palate, and HOT!
