Worried that since I had the 90 min first this would simplely be boring. But this offers the same pine and citrus smell and taste of its older brother but also has some sweet malt to round it out a bit. Great example of the style

Taste - Same as it smells. Overall - I really like this beer, it’s my go-to beer for time when I want something good but affordable. 6/pk for $8.99. Stone IPA is better but $2 higher for a sixer. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 20, 2009 Appearance: Pours a yellow-ish amber with a bright white 1/4 inch head. Leaves behind white, webby lacing.
Aroma: Earthy hops and grainy, sweet malt.
Taste: A mixture of earthy, citrusy and bitter hops and a dry bready malt finish.
Mouthfeel: Thick and full bodied.
Overall: The best east coast IPA I have had to date, more bready than I remember, but I do get my "Minutes" mixed up every now and again. I feel this is too heavy to session the entire 6 pack, but with it’s moderate abv. and huge flavor, it could be done with joy. MJGG (424), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 19, 2009 Bouteille de 12 oz.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2009 355 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Slightly hazy orange-golden with a fair off-white froth.
Aroma: A delicious, juicy ode to hops – grapefruit, marmalade, orange, pine, slightly earthy, caramel and toffee malts provide support for the hop aromas.
Palate: Medium body, medium carbonation, lightly astringent.
Flav.: Much like the nose, lots of fruity hops, plenty of sweet malts, some light earthiness, some resin, rye bread crust; off-dry with nice bitterness and a slightly dusty hop/toffee finish.
I’ve finally managed to rate this stuff after about 3 6-packs. I just love drinking it! ajm (967), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2009 Tap at Pap. Nose is a sharp hoppiness like one would expect; flavor is absurdly green like a twig that won’t snap. Really unripe, really tartly bitter. Ungood.
