Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 9, 2004 A hazy orange beer with a fine beige head. The aroma is like sticking your head into a hop plant - hops and oil all over. The flavor is also very hoppy on a sweet background with notes of oil and loads of bitterness, that draw out the mouthwater. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 17, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Dark amber, unfiltered with a pretty flat head and some sediment. Pronounced hoppiness in the nose, in fact the hops saturates this beer - they’re simply all over and returns in the palate. One of the most hardcore IPA’s I’ve had. omhper (11027), Stockholm, Sweden May 1, 2006 Bottled. Amber colour, average head. Strikingly hoppy nose with pear and lychee. Initilally it’s dry with rounded mouthfeel. It’s dominated by sweaty hops, but there is enough malt not to make it too lopsided. Some malt sweetnes comes through before a finish which is very bitter. Oakes (7047), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Mar 16, 2002 The brewer told me that the first time they made this beer the football game didn’t work and he had to do it by hand. Ouch! Hazy amber, floral, lightly piney hop nose. Rich hops, lots of bitterness. In a way, this is less balanced than the 90Min, but in a way, that makes it better. A great beer in the hop-o-rific West Coast style. joergen (6947), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 5, 2006 Bottle.
