Aroma of pine, maple syrup and fruit candies. Some caramel, orange, citrus, pine and a thick hop backing. I was looking for a little extra bitterness, but the beer balances well and is an easy drink. Quite tasty. Medium to heavy bodied. Finishes bitter and dry. Yum.

Aug 29, 2008 Pour is light copper with small white head. Aromas of pine and citrus. Flavor is watery with small hop presence. 90 min is much better and makes the 60 look terrible. Good session brew though.

Aug 26, 2008 An amazing IPA. Extremely smooth and hoppy. Not quite as good as the 90, but maybe more drinkable.

Aug 26, 2008 Bottle. Poured clear amber with white head. Grassy aroma, with hops. Tasted clean and hoppy, with bitter aftertaste. A great IPA.

Aug 25, 2008 Clear golden honey color with lots of visible carbonation and a thick slowly receding cream color head that leaves light lacing. Beautiful creamy floral hop aroma, caramel and toffee and butterscotch candy. Nice malt body but a bit of a hop let down. More caramel and a nice drying finish. Well balanced and sessionable for sure but Stone’s IPA might be more enjoyable than this.

Aug 24, 2008 When the hell did I forget to rate this? Well its good, but it doesnt even touch the 90 for me. Too bitter and not quite what i would expect from the DFH. I would think it would be woodier and a tad maltier, but still it is certainly one I wouldnt turn down if given to me!
