Pours a medium bodied amber with a white head. Big aromas of citrus/floral/pine hops, with some caramel. Flavors of sweet and not to dry or bitter hops of the nose with a touch of orange and has a malt backbone of caramel. Delicious and well rounded IPA, and especially for its abv! I enjoyed this one alot. Bitter end, and semi sweet. Great ipa.

Nice citrusy IPA with a good pine or grassy hop aroma. The beer is blonde with a good white head. A good bitterness on the finish.

$10 / 6’er ---I have already tried this guy’s older brother, 90 minute, first and I can’t help but compare. From what I can remember, both have an excellent hop and malt balance and are easy to drink; both of these ales are excellent. To my Ohio State Representatives (because I’m sure you are reading this): thanks for making it impossible to buy the 120 minute IPA--and all beers over 12%--in our great state. What the hell? No need for such a dumb ass law.

Drank this and the 90 minute in the same night and liked this much better. The taste was not purely dominated by hops, but involved many other citrus notes. Tastes like there’s an orange peel floating in there with floral hops bouncing around as well. Very tasty and drinkable. Excellent IPA

Not one of my favorite’s from Dogfish Head, but very tasty. I tend to like a more direct hop flavor - this is a bit more mellow. A smooth I.P.A. for sure.

(12 ounce bottle) Citrus and hoppy aroma. Great lacing and head retention. Perfect amount of bitterness, citrusy floral hoppy taste. Nice aftertaste a little on the bland side but overall I think its great.

This is about as "basic" a high end IPA as I’ve ever had. It’s not dull, it’s actually quite flavorful, but the taste does not really stand out to me at all among the mountain of IPAs I’ve drank. Appearance is equally run-of-the-mill. Smell and mouth are both very nice. There is nothing whatsoever "wrong" with this brew, it is a well above average IPA, but somewhat disappointing in comparison to the outrageous 90 minute.

Nose is straightforward hops - not much of anything else. Flavor is the same, piney and light grapefruit to start. FInish is a little dirty, some caramel malt and apricot shows up and instead of complementing the hop bitterness, it just overtakes. Drinkable IPA, pretty average and unbalanced as noted.

Heavy and pleasant hop aroma, flavor and bitterness. I’ll admit it, this beer has got it going on as far as the hop profile is going on. The problem comes in the taste and palate. There is simply not much to be appreciated in this beer outside of the fact that there is a ridiculously large amount of hops in it. Taste is thin and light. the palate is left super dry, which accentuates the hops, but does little in the way of pleasing malt. Go with the 90 min.
