Drank from a bottle into a chalice. This beer pours a amber almost orange, with a nice white head that pops up, stays a while not forever. Nice lacing for an IPA. It smells very hoppy with a hint of citrus. This taste is hoppy with a fruit, with a lite of bitterness at the end. This is a very good beer.

Pour: Amber/copper, fairly large head. Aroma: Balance of citrus hops, caramel and syrup sweetness, bready malt. Flavor: Suprisingly balanced for an imperial IPA, hops provide mostly bitterness and aftertaste, some citrus. Sweet malts, almost tastes like a dessert, with a good beery bitterness behind it. Finish is hoppy, bitter.

From Full Throttle Bottles in Seattle, WA. Starting with an inviting colour of clear, rich copper - almost orange it was, underneath a frothy white two-fingered head. An appealing aroma of hop and malt blend pleased the nose, and shit howdy, did this ever taste good! Nice bite from the hops followed with a slightly sweet finish from the malt. Why can’t all, or at least most beers taste as good as this? Now to kick myself for only buying one.

Two sips in, and this is infinitely better than the 60 Minute IPA. Dogfish, you have redeemed yourself! Pours a hazy amber with a bit less than a finger of off-white head. Smells sweetly of vanilla cake, toffee, and banana - almost like a hefe. Taste is not bitter, considering the 90 IBUs. Malt dominates the palate and the citrusy hops barely break through. If I were an Imperial IPA purist, I would say that this beer was too smooth for the style, but instead, I’ll say it’s a great beer!

Fully hazy orange-amber, under thick yellow-creamy head. Sweet & hoppy, cakey malts, waffles syrup, bit of banana ester. Sweet, slightly roasted, syrupy malts, ananas & banana esters, under the all-American-muscle C-hops. Bit of lytchee/rosewater. Very thick MF, syrupy, slick, but ending very balanced, all flavours converging. Nice twist - as this sample was apparently not the usual 90minutes. The original brought me probably to C-hops forever... Big thanks to CK!

Poured amber. Nose is HOPS! Pine and citrus melded with a sweet caramel nose. Flavor is a little off balanced bitter citrus and pine hops, some sugar, and toasted grains. Very nice IIPA that hides most of the booze.

On tap. Pours dark amber with a white head good lacing. Light caramel and honey on the nose. Herbal hop and a sweet malt. A great ipa.
