Pours a nice amber color with citrus and pine aromas. Nice caramel malt flavor with hints of raisin and brown sugar. A truly great IPA.

I can see why everyone likes this one, sweet hops, excellent texture... the only one small drawback was the alchohol, but it is better blended and smoother than many other IIPA. Incredible look in a tulip with a the clear amber body and lacy head, taste is as described, could not do better than DFH says... body is smooth, creamy and slippery... great beer.

From bottle. Part of Dayton Beertastring event. Pours orange in color with a solid head . Hops dominate the aroma. Plenty of hops to share in this bad boy. The alcohol is barely noticeable. Classic IIPA.....

Come outta the bottle a nice dark orange with light carbonation and a very small head. Aroma hits the nose as soon as the cap is opened up and consists of mostly a pine and citrus hop aroma. Flavor is terrific! Great sugary sweetness to the beer meshes well with the early citrus hops and which fades to a great pine bitterness to finish. Alcohol is not overpowering but does seem to warm the beers flavor and meld everything together in your mouth. Taste buds are a bit numb after this beer. Great very well balanced and full beer. Look forward to another one sometime soon.

Darker shade of brown, clear traces of gas rising; Very nutty, malted brown bread aroma; strong blast of deep, bitterness fills the mouth (almost overpowering), has that deep roasted nuttiness (not sure which type of nut) in the flavour; Rich bitterness in the aftertaste

Clear, oarnge / peach color with a small, white head which does not cover the surface of the beer. Yeasty, candy, flowers and pine aroma. The palate is warmed by a smooth, crisp bitterness with low carbonation. Very well balanced, very well balanced. As a frequent Avery drinker, I find this brew refreshngly balanced. This is a fine IPA, did I say it was balanced?

Enjoyed this last night out of a 12 oz snifter. Had a wonderful citrus smell of oranges or lemons. It was a warm amber color and poured nicely. The 9% ABV is masked wonderfully in an array of citrus and fruit but not sweet. Wonderful tasting hops, and a hint of caramel or brown sugar. If IPA’s are your thing this one is decadent. Enjoy on tap at Flat Bread in Burlington.

Pours a dark orange with a white head. Aroma is of strong bitter hops, citrus fruit, alcohol, and caramel. Taste is heavy bitterness, balanced out by a strong alcohol bite and malts. Lingering taste of bitter alcohol. Finish is very biter.
