Apr 23, 2005 [Cask at GBBF 2004] A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is grassy and hoppy, while the flavor is sweet with primary notes of alcohol as well as lighter notes of hops leading to a very dry end.

Apr 23, 2002 Reddish amber. Flowery, citrusy nose. Full bodied, seet, slightly syrupy mouthfeel, and a late bitterness that just keeps growing. Despite it’s bizarre hop rate it somehow manages to remind somewhat balanced. As usual a very interesting brew from Dogfish Head.

May 9, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear amber with a small, off-white head. Some citrus in the nose. Only medium-bodied with some caramel. Soft and citrusy. Hoppy finish but not overly so. OK but not really a great IIPA. 220406

Nov 11, 2001 Amber, brilliant colour; florals, herbs, caramelly nose; body is full of woody bitterness; big flavour with citrus, cascade. The bitterness really comes on strong late in this beer, detracting from the overall balance and coating the mouth. I wanted to see a more expressive nose and less bitterness in the finish.
