Jun 15, 2008 35.5cl bottle from Total Wine (Tampa). Pours a dark golden orange with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is strongly of apricot, fresh grain, ripe fruit. Flavor is slightly sour, slightly sweet, citrus, ripe apricots. Interesting ale.

Jun 13, 2008 4/22/08 notes: bottle. Appearance is golden amber with a bit of orange. Pours clear with a small white head. Aprihop smells of crisp grass, hops, and apricot fruit. Tastes of sweetish fruits (mostly apricot), hops, and grass, to go along with a sublte malt backing. Based on Aprihop’s flavor, I think Dogfish has it wrong to call this an IPA: there is too little bittering hops and too much fruit in the finish. This beer is tasty, but I felt that flavors were too indiscriminant, and mouthfeel a little light. 7% alcohol well masked however.

Jun 13, 2008 Pours a dark amber with fizzy head. Fruit, citrus, grapefruit, bread, and apricots! Very nicely balanced, fairly complex and refreshing. Finishes slightly sour, quite good. I would drink it more if it were more available in my area.

Jun 12, 2008 Had on tap. Definitely can smell the apricots! Fruity taste, but not overpowering. Smooth drinking. Dark amber color. A decent IPA, but prefer full bodied dark brews. Will drink again.

Jun 11, 2008 my first review ever... hopefully not the last. bottle. the color of maple syrup. nearly no head. does not smell like apricots. a little more apricot smell wouldn’t hurt. very well balanced, sweetness of raisins with a slight hops finish. very slight bitter aftertaste. carbonation is fizzy. I would drink this beer again, it would be great for a cool spring evening.

Jun 9, 2008 Pours a darkish golden amber with one finger head that dissapates quickly. Definite nose of apricot as well as citrusy notes from the excellent hop presence. Flavor is sweet and fruity with a hint of alcohol and a crisp but smooth mouthfeel. Finish is tart and dry. Excellent brew.

Jun 7, 2008 On tap - pours a nice, bronze/copper color with small white head. Begins a little fruity but has a nice balance with its amount of hops. Nice flavor, not too sweet, overall a tasty beer.

Jun 6, 2008 Poured an amberish orange body with a thin bubbly white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is of apricot juice and some citrus hops. The flavor is much the same with the apricot juice up front with some citrus hop bitterness in the background. The apricots don’t seem fresh, which is kind of disappointing. Medium bodied and full of carbonation with a slight bitter finish. This is not bad, but not something I would reach for often.
