| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Dogfish Head ApriHop is a great fruit beer with a natural, faint apricot aroma. The color is a clear orange/amber with a nice but disappearing head. The taste is of a very lightly bitter IPA with just enough apricot to be intriguing. hellbilly (1532), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 29, 2008 on tap @ papago... nice rich golden color with a fluffy whitish head that sticks around for a bit. pretty faint aroma... light fruity, pine and grassy hops combined with a bit of caramel. the flavor is a grassy earthy ipa mixed with slightly unripened apricots and a touch of caramel. nice dry finish. medium body with a light vibrant mouth feel. cblado (148), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 28, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a orange amber, thick off white head. Aroma seemed almost non-existent, faint apricots. Flavor is decent, after all it’s a good old Dogfish IPA. It’s disappointing that the apricots don’t add much. Dogfish IPA’s are so fruity and flavorful to begin with that it’s difficult to notice the apricot flavor. There’s a bit of an apricot aftertaste, that’s all. Aprihop is a bit pricey for a hyped-up fruit IPA, I’d stick with 60-minute IPA instead. BMan1113VR (2878), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Kind of disappointed. Pours with a creamy, off-white head with a bronze body with good lacing. Piney hop aroma with fresh apricots and some malts. Taste is okay at best. The apricots add some tang to the finish. Dry mouthfeel. GMCC2181 (862), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Bottle: Nice red/amber color. Decent head. Aroma is apricot and some spices. Taste is sweet apricots, a little malt, yet quite smooth and easy to drink. No bitterness detected for an IPA. Light texture. 7 percent was also a surprise, would of not guessed that. Good beer, nice change up as the weather is warming. Davin (48), Vermont, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2008 This was a refreshing beer with a lot of apricot flavor and sweetness. Very smooth and easy to drink. I’m surprised that it has an ipa base because it wasn’t bitter. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 27, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy/shared with Naka. Pours a red/orange-gold with white head. Good carbonation. Head quickly dissipates, lacing is decent. Light apricot nose wit hsweet sugar and mild caramel and toffee. "Slight floral and citrus hop melds with the apricot to produce a mongo-like nose" (Naka 2008). Good, sweet malt body with a crisp apricot finish accented by a moderate hop bitterness. Jolly Rancher-like candy sweetness. Very refreshing and tasty.
