Subdued aromas of citrus and treelike hops along with dust and paper. Flavor is fairly lively with herbal and leafy hop flavors as well as an everpresent light apricot fruitiness. Sweeter at times but still has a bready maltiness and ever present hop induced bitterness. It’s pretty well done but not really a flavor that suits my tastebuds. I’m not apricot hater, but no apricot lover either. barleynhops (82), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA

I like this beer because its not overly sweet, it still has an IPA taste. Kudos once again to the Brew Master. ajm (965), Los Angeles, California, USA

I do think that the fruit lends a balance that most IPAs don’t have... but I guess that is another way of saying I don’t really go for IPAs. Gregis (1135), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 30, 2007 Pours a pretty, clear copper with a ton of rising bubbles and a dense, frothy, ivory head that leaves behind creamy lace. The aroma is a bit disappointing, with the apricots and Cascades duking it out for supremacy. Neither actually seems to win the battle, and it results in a bit of a muddled fruity mess backed by a mild caramel note. Medium-bodied and creamy with a moderately bitter finish. The flavor is an interesting combination of a big malty, apricot front and a PNW hops finishing things off satisfyingly bitter. This is one of the better fruited beers that I’ve sampled, but I think I prefer my fruit beers and IPAs separate. KDorgan12 (169), Memphis, Tennessee, USA

This one kept me at bay for a long time since I didn’t know how I’d react to the apricot...well, it was delicious - more peachy than apricot but man, what a beer! milljam (584), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Intriguing.....my first beer with apricots. I enjoyed the fact that the base is an IPA...it goes well with the apricots. Little malt in the taste, mainly hops, with fruits, apricot being the most prevalent. Good finish. I MUST HAVE GOTTEN AN OLD BOTTLE.
THE APRICOT AROMA AND TASTE WERE ABSENT. SO WHATS LEFT? AN IPA BY DFH. I WAS LET DOWN AGAIN. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
