Orange gold crisp, clear pour with mild white head. Fruity apricot and hop aroma. Starts out very sweet and interesting but does not deliver in the flavor department. Mild and super sweet. Average mouthfeel, decently warming alcohol content. The low-light of the Dogfish head flavors I’ve tried.

Oct 13, 2008 I had one bottle and really enjoyed every sip. Dogfish Head continues to impress. Perfect lace and long lasting flavor.

Oct 3, 2008 Pours a clear orange colour with a thin, off-white head that clings to the sides of the glass. The nose hits you immediately with, you guessed it, apricots, and they’re pretty authentic smelling, like those organic fruit roll-ups. There isn’t much else to the aroma, as it is very one dimensional. The flavour is also rather one-dimensional, but its full of apricot flavour as advertised. There are some citric hops. The finish is long, fruity and a bit artificial, yet they claim ’brewed with real apricots.’ The booze is very well hidden for such a light beer, but eh....nothing special.

Sep 21, 2008 12 oz bottle served without a glass. Sniffing the bottle revealed a sweet syrupy apricot smell along with a touch of c-hops. Fresh apricot taste that blends with the sweet caramely backbone and light hoppyness, a bit too sweet. It was good but I tired of drinking it 2/3 of the way through the bottle.

Sep 18, 2008 Pours an amber with a nice foamy head. Smells a bit like a vomity lager though. Sweet, sweet, sweet apricot in flavor that is not at all appeasing. Just sweet all around here. Nice full body though, but the sweetness was just too much for me.
