Pours a dark burgundy color....looks a lot like a red wine. But that’s what this beer reminds me of though....a sweet, red wine. Has a small head with lacing that sits beneath the surface of the beer. Aroma is kind of grassy. Taste has strong, sour fruit flavors...the courants are definitely displayed Sometimes I wonder why anyone even packages this as a beer...but that’s just me. I know that lambics do have a following...gotta try one soon.

wasn’t expecting this I poured it. the color reminds me of raspberry jam. Loves the way it looks though, Smell a bit sour. Taste is very tart, like a Lamic. Falls flat, tartness and carbinaton overrides other flavors of berries and mint. Give a try, not the best though

This appears a slightly hazy golden orange with an overflowing white head. As this is consumed the head drops to a cap of bubbles leaving scattered lacing around the glass. Powerful grape aroma with this as the only other component I can smell is the occasional bready scent. Fruit tartness hits the palette first with a grape berry flavor that is backed by slight malt sweetness. There are a lot of similarities to lambic in the tartness and fruitiness of this brew. Finishes with a tart slightly spicy after taste. The body is light to medium with a bubbly feel to it. Clean and crisp going down this is a fairly drinkable brew provided you are in the mood for something tart. Great brew to try for something a little bit different.

The aroma had dark fruit sweetness, big courants, and a slight maltiness. THe flavor had soury dark fruit, courants, slight maltiness. The beer poured a golden yellow color w/ slight head and lacing. THe mouthfeel was light and carbonated.

poured out a pure golden color. Nose at first made me think was gonna be very lambic like, and it was sort of. Taste was a bit sour with lite fruit flavors, lots of carbonation. Apple juice on some sips, more so towards the bottom of the bottle. Not bad, but definitly a bit strange.

bottle 12 oz. Clear red/burgundy, poor head. Aroma is sweet-tart with a cranberry/apple fruitiness. Flavor is rather dry & tart cranberry/apple. Reminded me of some expensive sparkling fruit drink the old women at a health spa might drink. If in the desert and dying of thirst I’d be happy as hell to have this, otherwise....?

On tap: Rehobeth Beach: Purple beer is always fun. This one just didn’t have much of an aroma. Flavor was tart with some fruitiness to it but that was it.

Brewtopia 05. This was almost purple. Low head, low aroma of fruit. I was looking foward to trying this, glad I didn’t have to buy a 6’er of this. It was not my favorite
