Aromas of cherries, Spice, sugar, au courant . Deep red in color, nice pink head and lace was present. Aroma was fantastic sweet, fruity malty. Very tart and SHARP. This beer goes down smooth and leaves the mouth happy and tart.

Aromas of cherries and spice. Ruby red body with pink head and some lacing. Flavor was more spice driven than fruity. Dry spice aftertaste. Not bad but not special. This is a hard to rate beer.

Bottle. Deep ruby red with a small pink head. Aroma is wonderfully sweet and fruity with bready malt backing it up. The flavor is where the currants really come through; very tart and crisp with a bit of hops spiciness and malt. Light, tingly carbonation gives this beer a smooth, crisp feel that’s very refreshing. The malt blends a bit more with the currants in the finish to round this beer out nicely. Dry, crisp and very easy drinking, this is a very good fruit beer. What’s with the reviews describing the color as ’amber’ or ’peach’? Are there diferent variations of this beer?

pours a dark reddish mahogony color w/ a whiteish/reddish small head w/ little lacing. Scents of spice and fake fruitiness, hint of raisen. Palate is fairly light a bit dry nothing special. Flavor just wasn’t very good bland berries a touch sour and wateriness.. blah.

Sourish nose, with hints of berries, no very artificial, which is good. Deep red colored body, small pinksih head. Very watery flavor, weak notes of black currants.

Bottled: Red coloured. Hazy. Reddish white head. Fruity artificial aroma. Notes of sweetness and light spices. Flavour is dry. Light fruity. Is quite alcoholdense. Thin bodied. Ends on a fruity note. Quite uninteresting.

Overly sweet with a stale raisin fruitiness that just seems to cling to the palate and drape it with a sodden blanket of weird dried fruit syrupy sort of covering. Potent alcohol presence as well. Not my favorite DH beer.
