The aroma is sweet with powerful notes of black currant - and so is the flavor, but in the flavor there’s hints of acidity, and the body is thin. Not impressed. omhper (12261), Stockholm, Sweden

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 23, 2004 Hazy light tan colour. Black currant aroma with hints of slightly toasty malt. Fruity taste with bready malts backing it up. Slightly salty. Finishes sweet and slightly plasticy. I like blackcurrants, but I don’t like the balance here. Salt and plastic are not what I need in a beer, and it’s too sweet. Less malt for a lower abv and fewer residual sugars would be a good start. argo0 (6982), Washington DC, USA
