A red beer with a pink head. The aroma is sweet with powerful notes of black currant - and so is the flavor, but in the flavor there’s hints of acidity, and the body is thin. Not impressed.

Hazy light tan colour. Black currant aroma with hints of slightly toasty malt. Fruity taste with bready malts backing it up. Slightly salty. Finishes sweet and slightly plasticy. I like blackcurrants, but I don’t like the balance here. Salt and plastic are not what I need in a beer, and it’s too sweet. Less malt for a lower abv and fewer residual sugars would be a good start.

Crystal clear amber with minimal beige head. Aroma is candy sugar sweet. Taste is medium sweet up top, then currant, finishing light herbal hoppy. Medium body with a very dry finish.

(Draught) Pours a golden color with a medium-sized white head. Had a berry and malt flavor with a fruity nose.

Poured a see through reddish-orange color with an averaged size white head. Aromas of currants, yeast, and has a little musty earthiness to it. Tastes of fruits and berries. Very lightly sour and lightly malty sweet. Body is a little thin for my tastes. 6 3 6 3 11

Re-rate. ’04 vintage. Poured a deep reddish / brown / purple color. Aromas of berries, courants and light smoke. Light sour and tart finish.
