On tap @ the Rehoboth brewpub. Pours a cloudy off orange color w/almost no head. Sweet floral hop aroma w/a touch of orange to it. Very sweet flavor of floral hops w/touches of honey, orange/tangerine, cane sugar, & a little bread dough. Had a good bit of carbonation to it. Reminded me a lot more of a Belgian Blond or Saison, or even a Hefe/Witbier than a Mead, had a honey flavor to it but the carbonation made it much more "Beerlike" than "Meadlike". Very smooth, easy drinking brew, good summer sipper; alcohol was well hidden. Very enjoyable, wish they would bottle this one.

Very sweet beer, I could only really handle one of these at a time, I was thinking about getting a growler of it to go, but didn’t think I could finish it all before it went bad, amber color with a light orange hue, very generous & soft white head, lots of sweetness in the nose with notes honey & orange, very sweet flavors with lots of honey tones, this had that unmistakable DFH flavor to it with a slight note of caramel & bready malts, had a rather tart finish with even more honey & a little touch of spicy hoppiness, overall a great beer but one that needs to be taken kind of slowly & one at a time

Draft @ Brewpub: Cloudy amber w/ a small white head. Aroma has a hint of orange, some honey sweetness & an almost sour note. Flavor really pops w/ honey. Very sweet w/ some subtle hops towards the end. Leaves a sweet, syrupy coating lingering in the mouth. Very sweet, but quite tasty.

Draft at the brewpub in DE. Murky amber color with no head. Aroma is kind of fuity with a sweet smell. Flavor had spicy characteristics, honey sweet malt but blended very well for a nice smoothness. Texture was medium. Over all I enjoyed this beer and would get it again. I doubt this beer will make it to the bottleling line though.
