| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Updated: Apr 19, 2009750 mL bottle. Pours a deep amber, no head. Aroma is malty with lots of tart dark fruits. Flavor is sweet on the front and finishes tart. Not a huge fan.
Re-rate after trying again on 4.17.09: Bumping the aroma up from 5 to 7. Has a nice but not overly artificial berry smell with a hint of caramel. Adding a point to the flavor as well. I’m liking the semi tart, but not vinegary finish. Taking overall from 11 to 14. Hophead22 (1106), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA

Not overly sweet, the berries are very prominent though. Very tasty. FROTHINGSLOSH (2038), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Sampled from a 25.6 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark ruby color with a small pink head and multiple floaters. The aroma was interestingly tart, bitter, sour and funky with vague fruits. The flavor was bitter, tart and tangy with a moderate dry berry element and a funky musty undertone. The finish was long musty berry. Nice. Miver (580), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of berries, and a fairly sweet malt. Tastes of Blackberries, blueberries, Belgian yeast, with some lightly tart fruits and a fairly sweet malt base. Finishes a little warm with the 10% abv. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 23, 2008 This pours a dark amber-orange. Bubbly, with sparse white head. Very smooth, with obvious berry qualities. Tasted blueberry and blackberry, but finished with the tartness of raspberry. Not my type of thing, but it’s definitely something different. Funky Belgian aroma.
