Lots of dark fruit flavors with some Belgian character as well. It’s a little too sweet, but still an enjoyable brew. zach8270 (2136), Henrietta, New York, USA

Lots of berries in the aroma, mostly blackberries, and some sugar. Not a whole lot else. Flavor is very fruity with a lot of berries. The initial flavor is the sweet malt and bitterness of a Belgian ale followed by a nice sweetness of blueberries and blackberries with a very tart and bitter finish. A little sour at the end. thewolf (5831), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a pretty, clear amber with a medium creamy white head. Super lacing. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Lots of raspberries and bluberries.Good mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Flavour is a bit of a let-down and slightly thin. Light fruity tartiness with the raspberries dominating. Light vinious and warms up at the end. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA

Small off-white head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, transparent, very little carbonation, and an orange hue. Nose was berries, some spice, sweet some malt, and some alcohol. Pretty much ditto for the flavor. Fairly smooth mouthfeel and medium in body. Just an okay beer for me as it was a tad too much berry tasting for my liking so once is enough for me of this beer. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 10, 2008 July 2007 - Pour was a reddish color with thin head and lacing. Faint aroma of fruity blueberries. Nicely done fruity beer, just enough fruit to be sweet and refreshing, not too much. Some malty sweetness and a little "belgian-y thing" going on. I liked it. 1FastSTi (2588), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 5, 2008 Thanks Jason. This beer was bottled on 2/13/07. The beer pours to a clean amber body with a creamy white head. The aroma is raspberry greens and blueberries. The flavor is old blueberries, light blackberries (oddly not black raspberries), and simple pale malts. Simple flat palate with strong gut warming. Perhaps too vintage? | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 4, 2008 Bottle shared by Jason. Clear red color with a fluffy white head. Smells like a bit like Berry Weiss but with a more solid malt foundation. The flavor is quite sweet; all berry and no fruit tartness. Meh. 37steel (186), St. Charles, Illinois, USA
