The aroma is mainly light berries and a little malt. The first sensation is of sweet malts with the berries coming in a little later. Medium to light mouthfeel. Goes down smoothly and the ABV is well hidden. Cornfield (4961), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

Very good looking ale, a deep amber highlighted in red with a short-lived eggshell head that produces some slippery lacing. Wait a sec - I’m picking up some berries in the finish. I’d call it a "Beligian Strong Ale." Okay, but I won’t be repeating it... unless treated.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 27, 2007 As fruit beers go this is not bad. The sweetness of the belgium style brew and the tartness of the fruit provide an interesting contrast. Smooth on the palate. Mike4686 (120), Bayonne, New Jersey, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 24, 2007 This fruit beer pours a deep orange gold color from a 750ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is blackberries and oranges, malty, sweet and bready. Medium bodied fruit beer. Malts are fruity and sweet. Slight beery flavors, the blueberry and blackberry flavors are there but kind of hide in the background. Sort of lambic like. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA
