There’s a really interesting fruitiness (I’m going to assume it’s the hawthorn). A bit of honey on the nose. Fairly mellow, but still flavorful. Really tasty. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Aroma of mixed fruit, spices and some malt too, apricot, with a small white head. Tastes of pear, white plums, malt and some candied ginger. Medium bodied, very well balanced, complex. Most unique! Thanks radiomgb! BillKismet (1956), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Cloudy dark blonde color with a head of vague, seperating continents. Aroma is meadlike with some muscat grape note and a distinct pepperiness. Crisp, light body with a wonderful medley of flavors and honey viscous mouthfeel. Touches of pepper with herbs and honeyed sweetness. Wonderful complexity. Slight alcohol underpinning, though and a bit watery. Delightful, but certainly a ritual and not a session beer. robforbes (1110), Bremerton, Washington, USA

Good Beverage. It would NEVER be my everyday beer but an interesting conversation piece/drink. I would buy it again, but just to have in the cellar for a special drink GMCC2181 (883), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA
