This was just great. A real treat to drink. Awesome idea for a beer recipe, and just like they probably did 9000 years ago, i could drink this all day. :) Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA

Average white head, quickly dissipates. The body is pretty creamy. Taste is a very orange/citrus flavor, with a nice sweet honey hint to it. The beer wasn’t spectacular, but it wasn’t super expensive, and the history behind it is very interesting. badlizard (2372), Berkeley, California, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 1, 2007 650 ml bottle from archer liquors. As a historical archaeologist married to an archaeologist of the neolithic, I was really looking forward to trying this re-creation of a neolithic brew. Cloudy yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma of fruit and honey. Satin-like some what sticky palate. Sweet taste with some white wine character, strong fruit presence and a mellow honey taste to the finish. Quite good. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2007 A decent but odd beer from the over-the-top Dogfish Head. Aroma of spices and white grapes. Pour was a medium light gold with a 1 finger white head. Taste was like carbonated white grape juice with a bit of malt and heavy on the spices. Hides the alcohol exceptionally well. Tastes like a 4% beer. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
