Fruity and floral aroma. Jasmine was said to be included which is heavy on the nose. Lots of floral notes. Highly fruity and sweet taste. Has dry elements later on that can be attributed to the rice and grain used in the brewing process. Very different but very well done. halfonit (465), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 2, 2009 Similar to Midas Touch. Clear golden color on this one. Aroma is mostly of fruits, I can definitely smell some honey and grapes. Not too much carbonation. Taste is of honey and sweeter malts. Sweet aftertaste. I likes, I likes. deyholla (708), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2009 Golden color from the bottle, with modest head. Distinctive, with big sweet taste up front. Unique dry dessicating effect in midtaste, not unpleasant, but not hops. roder60 (1023), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 31, 2009 Poured a hazy dark gold with minimal foamy white head. Aroma sweet sugars, tart green grapes, and a bit of yeasty esters. Flavor very sweet and syrupy, reminds me of honeydew mellon with a splash of booziness thrown in. Overall, a bit too sweet for me. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2009 Deep gold pour with with fluffy head and lace. Aroma of straw. Flavor is sweet malt with a rich flavor of something like apples. Medium/full bodied beer with a bit over aggressive carbonation. A pretty nice beer with the 9% well hidden. Appearance: Pours a clear amber orange with a pin stripe of white at the top.
Aroma: Bread crust, white grapes (mlidly sweet white wine and skins), and honey suckle bush.
Taste: Honey, bread crust, dry white wine (opposite of what I get in the nose) and finishes with more dry breadcrustiness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied yet heavy.
Overall: For those who were put off by Theobroma’s uniqueness, this is a much more drinkable traditional ale. This is crazy (because its not something you experience every day with beer), yet balanced.
