Commercial Description:
A neo-lambic ale that goes through both a yeast and bacteria fermentation and is then aged on oak chips and 400 pounds of Delaware peaches. This beer is very tart and complex. It arrives cork-finished and bottled-conditioned in champagne bottles.

Tasted with Ross. This beer wasn’t bad at all. Had it for a few years though. Nice color, golden amber, not very evervesant. I think I had some CO2 loss, oh well. Nose of funky barncoats and peach skins. The palate is very tart, mouth puckering at first but then mellow on the finish. The peach is very bitter, peach pits? There is a definite hint of oak, not vanilla, but earthy/woodsy spice. Nice balance, any sweetness is very well balanced by the tart and sour elements. Wish I had a few more.

GABF 06. Aroma is sour peaches, and very tart. Light amount of funky characteristics. Taste is very tart, peach, with a rather full body for the style and a lasting sourness on the tongue.

2004 bottle opened by Brandon (bigsilky) Thanks! Pours out a clear orange color, and the cork didnt pop very well, so there wasnt much CO2. seems that even though this is "bottle conditioned" it didnt really age as it should have. Smell is full of peaches and sour notes. Taste is sour and oakey, with a nice little peach taste. Pretty solid for a non belgian made lambic. I enjoyed my glass of it.

Hazy yellow colour with some orange. Apple scent, lovely tart flavour. I quite approve.

Thanks to RealityDeviant from BA for hooking me up with this. Hazy light orange body with a thin white head. Sweet, but sour fruit aroma. Sweet, but tart fruit flavor, some peach hints.

Light golden in colour with no head to speak of, no lacing, very still looking. The aroma is way more sweet then sour with apricots, peaches and apples, lacking funk. The flavour is intensely sweet (mainly peaches), sugary, some apples, lightly acidic. Sweet mouthfeel, light body, medium/light carbonation. Finishes with a lingering peach sweetness. Bizzare, unlike any fruit lambic I’ve had.

Hazy yellow beer with a small white head. Light tart and fruity aroma with a light acidic note. Fruity tart flavor with citric notes. Light dry and acidic finish.
