scoth (178), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Jul 3, 2009 Pours clear golden, with a medium white head, fine lasting lacing. Very fruity aroma of apple, citrus, peach, with some caramel and hay. Sharply sour with a medium body. Bright lemon flavor with some apple and mild peach. Some bread and citrus in the finish. JohnC (1991), Mission Viejo, California, USA Jul 2, 2009 12oz bottle. A hazy light yellow pour, tart and refreshing, but I really didn’t get any peach flavor out of it. Savvy1982 (111), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Jul 1, 2009 Bottle. Pours an almost flat hazy yellow. Frankly looks like a big glass of lemonade. No head, soda-pop carbonation. Nose is nice and tart and sour, some peaches, but I doubt I would have noticed if I hadn’t been told they were there. Palate is pleasant and fresh, tart and inoffensive. Tasty and fun, I’d definitely bring this on a summer picninc, but nothing too terribly brilliant or special here. PhilTheThrill (12), Florida, USA Jul 1, 2009 on tap at redlight redlight.
2009 edition.
i dont really get the peaches this year. maybe a little right at the finish. have looked at this bottle in the store numerous times and always passed it up due to silly label and the whole peach thing... sour and way drinkable.
reviewed while listening to steely dan at work. a lot of nerds here tonight. timfoolery (464), California, USA Jun 28, 2009 On tap at The Bier Stein. The girl accidentally poured this one for us. The peach was pretty good; very light and fresh, but not flavorful. Nice little beer, but nothing to write home about. RAYBOY01 (1757), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 28, 2009 Hazy light golden pour with moderate foamy white head...fading quickly. Fairly tart nose, wheat, grassy, and a hint of peach. the flavor is lightly tart, peachy, wheat grass-like...pretty refreshing and quite light on the palate. A decent enough summer refresher. j12601 (626), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA Jun 27, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy amber without much of a head. Light peach, grain and malt, wheat, and a touch of fruit and honey, and even a hint of mustard. Crisp and tart, with a touch of acid and tang. Finishes dry and a bit sour with a nice champagne yeast character. Rather tasty and refreshing. Well done. DeadGirl (48), New York, New York, USA Jun 27, 2009 Draught at George Keely’s in NYC. This beer reminds me of rancid cat piss. Or like when you throw up a lot and that first time you swallow... Just not a fan. Tart. Sour. Puke.
