Yves (989), Beerse, Belgium Oct 23, 2009 Yellow coloured beer with a small white head and no carbonation. Sweet hoppy aroma. Full sour palate. Finish is very sour with a sweet fruity touch. Nice one. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 23, 2009 (bottle). Cloudy pale yellow color. Small white head. Light fruity aroma. Light sweet and tart fruity flavor. Avg duration. Dry finish. Thin/fizzy texture. Moderate carbonation. Spare lacing. DYCSoccer17 (2187), Davis, California, USA Oct 21, 2009 12 ounce bottle purchased at the Davis Food Co-Op. Aroma is tart with some acidic notes and some barnyard funkiness. Some brett seems to be present. A little lemony aroma is also in there. Decent. Transparent pale golden body with a large, fluffy white head present. Starts with a sharp, tart lemony acidity. Becomes a little malty in the middle with some milky, doughy, biscuit flavors. A little more lemon flavor present to finish. This is actually pretty good and quite enjoyable. ciciorock (10), , Italy Oct 19, 2009 Bottle @ mondial de la biere in strasbourg.
Sicuramante non arrivata in forma..Evidenti problemi sotto tutti gli aspetti.Acida infetta carbonatissima..nessuna tracia delle pesche ma molti limoni e mandarini...Peccato
Rynoplasty (500), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 18, 2009 Pours hazy pale yellow with a smallish white head. Aroma is light, tart dry fruit with some yeast and peach as well. Flavor is tart, dry, slightly metallic peach and dry grapefruit. Not bad. GG (1612), NorCal, California, USA Oct 16, 2009 Finally, after many months of longing for this beer, my guy at Perry’s carries it so I scooped up a sixer. Very refreshing, bright flavors with a assertive tartness that is quite quenching. The body is a cloudy light orange color, with a light fluffy white head. Subtle carbonation present. Aroma is light wheat with just a hint of sweetness. Flavor is crackling with tartness, and that’s the note that is most prononced. Very soft peach (almost like under-ripe peaches) with a jaw clenching finish. Mouthfeel is prickly and lively. Kudos to DFH. KornDogg (168), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 14, 2009 I’ve had it in bottle and on tap... I’ve enjoyed both...hazy orange with little head.. fruity, sour notes.. I love the balance with the tartness... fun summer beer and easy to drink a lot Fevernova (31), Ohio, USA Oct 13, 2009 12 oz Bottle -- Light cloudy orange with a very thin head. Light refreshing orange and peach on the nose. Very tart on the the attack but almost no peach. A very simple and refreshing beer for the hot summer days.
