12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow body with no head or lacing. Lots of rising carbonation. Aroma is malty and cidery. Some honey, wheat, and semi-tart peaches and lemons. Flavor is a little better. Starts light and malty with a honey taste before moving into a fruity, somewhat sour, acidic finish. Mostly citrus and peach. Leaves a smooth honey flavor in the aftertaste with some light tart fruits. Light to medium bodied and refreshing. A touch of spritzy carbonation on the back of the tongue. Overall, a fairly well balanced beer, but rather lame. Not really my thing.

Bottle. Poured a thin honey orange with a quickly dissipating head. Very bitter and sour nose. Sour mouthfeel which gave this one more of a oude gueze character to it, and not so much of a weisse character. Decent, but overly sour.

Pours yellow orange with a small white head. Notes of peaches and a fair amount of tartness. I don’t know if it was the peaches or what, but something about this seemed a but forced or artificial. Didn’t have the subtle nuances of some recent berliner weises I’ve had - NG unplugged, telegraph reserve sour wheat. had it at winking lizard and it came with a dofish glass. was with pampdogg and mr. pamp.

note: According to Nick selm, who has a swollen booty hole, this is up there with “Monk’s Café Flemish Sour Red Ale” as the worst beer of all time.

2007 Bottle - Pours drab murky yellow with a small white head...aroma is tart, somewhat fruity, grain, yeast...flavour is citric initially, easing into sour peach and unfiltered grainy grit, finish is lemony and ascorbic...meh...

I liked this. Poured hazy yellow with a thick fizzy white head. Aroma of peaches. Tart peach flavor. Some lemon but more peach. Refreshing.

Hmmm. Not really good honestly. It does have a nice peach taste, but its not really something that is enjoyable. Hardly even a beer really, and not a good weisse. Worth a try, but not worth the price.

Split this between a friend while fishing. Had to try it because ive never had a Berliner Weisse before, i thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice tart funkness in the nose and every sip. Not a whole lot of peach really, but it was there, and balanced the sourness nicely. A good grab for a summer brew that refreshes well, while keeping a good taste at the same time.
