| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 9/20 | Oct 23, 2008 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: It has a hazy, light yellow colored body that produces little to no head. What little head is made on the pour quickly fizzles out leaving no head or lace. (This seems week even for a Berliner Weissbier.) There are some visible streams of carbonation that rush to the head and quickly dissipate.
Smell: The aroma has sharp sour fruit notes with pale sour wheat notes and faint grassy hops off in the distance.
Taste/Mouth feel: The first sip has a sour/tart puckering effect on the palate. There is an unripe sour peach flavor that mixes with tart wheat malt and pale grain. It finishes on the tart side with just a hint of grassy hops and mild bitterness. It has a nice level of carbonation that helps to clean the palate. The body is light with slightly thin texture.
Notes: My first thought was that this tasted like a Colt 45 with a blast of sour peach flavoring but after my second bottle I started to get a little better appreciation for this beer.

Subtle soft peach sweet followed by floral sour-bitterness. Effervescent, slightly thin body, but extremely refreshing. A very pleasant slightly fruity sour ale...really tasty. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Bottle into Sniffer. Pours golden, but a bit dirty with a white frothy head. Smells of peaches (obviously) and wheat. Has a good peach taste, but a bit acidic and overly carbonated. Overall, a good brew. lindsey7638 (18), , Maryland, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 19, 2008 This is a fantastic beer I thought. It is particularly bland looking, but the fruitiness in this beer is sharp and acidic, like a mild sour ale, and the vinous notes draw heavily on the more subtle flavors of dough, caramel malts, and sour bitter peach. Not necessarily complex, but I could drink a dozen of these and never grow tired of the crisp flavor. movezig (137), Pensacola, Florida, USA

When I first poured it, the aroma of Tuna was overwhelming. That alone about knocked me down. But then when I tasted it, I could only distinguish rotten sourness. Yugh...I’m very stingy with beer and I almost never pour it down the drain. However, i just couldn’t stomach this. It was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I will try it again soon and rerate since it’s the Dogfish Head Brewery. I don’t believe that they would product something so awful, had to be a bad bottle. decaturstevo (1980), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 12, 2008 An almost champagne aroma with hints of apple. Very clean golden pour with tight white head and lace that goes quickly. A very wine flavor that is a bit tart but smooth and refreshing. Carbonation is good and mouthfeel is solid. A pretty nice beer in an odd way.
