Dogfish Head Festina Peche

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy light amber color, the aroma more bitter than I was expecting from something with peach on the label. The taste was also sour, and my first thought was someone doesn’t know the difference between peaches and lemons. Perhaps it’s because it’s later in the season and the brew is souring somewhat, I don’t know, but I was not impressed. And it was on sale buy one get one. You get what you pay for...

Pours a cloudy light orange from the bottle with no discernable head. Smells of sour peaches and tastes just like a sour beer. This being my first Berliner Weisse, I was expecting something sweeter and less yeasty, yet still found this brew’s taste to be acceptable.

Pours up very light in color with almost no head to speak of. Aroma has subtle peach in it with some strawlike things going on in the background. Very carbonated with a nice balance between the sour twang and the peach coming through in the background. I really like this and wouldn’t mind even more of a peach presence although it’s balanced nicely as is.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with no head of which to speak. Tastes like someone unloaded a pack of sour skittles into some water. That may not sound appealing, but I’m really liking this. First experience with a berliner weisse but definitely not my last.

bottle, color is a hazy golden yellow with not a wisp of head within seconds, nose is lemony, flavor is sour, bitter and a light peach and lemon , finish is fizzy

Pours a hazy light gold with a thin head. Aroma of peach, wheat, apple. Nice tart sweet flavor.

Different for a Dogfish. Overly tart, very sour. Couldn’t find an evidence of alcohol in its flavor. PIcked this growler up from new beer in manhattan.

Bottle. Small head and a bit fizzy with a hazy body. Yellow color with hints of apple and moderate peach. Light taste making it a good summer beer, although doesn’t have the traditional taste of a beer. Unfortunately most of my friends do not like it, but I find it enjoyable on a hot day.
