Different for a Dogfish. Overly tart, very sour. Couldn’t find an evidence of alcohol in its flavor. PIcked this growler up from new beer in manhattan.

Bottle. Small head and a bit fizzy with a hazy body. Yellow color with hints of apple and moderate peach. Light taste making it a good summer beer, although doesn’t have the traditional taste of a beer. Unfortunately most of my friends do not like it, but I find it enjoyable on a hot day.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy bright yellow with lots of carbonation. Flavor is light and tart, almost champagne like. Mild peach flavors help to sweeten out the tart sour flavors. Light on the palate, leaves a lingering green apple finish. Pretty good, if not exactly my style.

Bottle 12 oz. The pour was a hazy straw yellow with almost green tint. Flavour is sour peaches, straw and alcohol. This is a true Berliner weisse which is something to keep in mind. If you are not a fan of sour beer this is not for you. Summer all the way on this brew. Very acidic and bitter. Fruit is burried in the background.

Very light gold color, thin, with a thin head that quickly dissipates. Dry aroma of wheat malt, citrus, peach, spices. Similar to a Belgian wit but without the sweetness. Slightly funky. Dry flavor, wheat malt with lots of peach. Thin and dry, yet a good sweetness seems to come from the peaches. Very interesting and well-balanced, going back and forth from dry to sweet, thin to rich. It’s really fun, and slightly funky. Spicy, citrus. It is really interesting, original, and especially well done.

Alefest sample filtered through berries. Cloudy yellow with a small head. Aroma is straight up raspberries and peach which is okay but not really what I look for in a beer. Malt? Hops? Flavor is sweet with a lot of sourness. I’m not big on sour but whatever. I’m tired of describing this.
