sja14 (105), Ohio, USA Jul 14, 2008 Updated: Jul 21, 2008Had this one on tap at WInking Lizard. Cloudy pale yellow with small white head. Smells like peaches. Tastes sour and tart with hints of peach. reminds me of lemonade with barely any sugar. A good thirst quencher, this beer has a short finish. My first sample of the style and I enjoyed it. Beatanalyst (10), Bensenville, Illinois, USA Jul 14, 2008 Not a good blend for DFH. It pours a very light color. Flavors are a little strong of peach and a very sour finish. Not the average Dog Head Brew. Bigmmartin (366), Dayton, Ohio, USA Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Definitely not my favorite DFH brew, but all in all not a bad beer. I enjoyed the unique nature, not really what I expected. It has a very light color when poured, with a white head. Taste is peach, followed by a tangy sour. Very dry and strong carbonation. Something different and worth a try. phiktion (11), , Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2008 Very impressed with this beer, leaves a nice tasting after taste, smells like a normal beer, and taste great, very tasty. Sparky27 (1559), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jul 9, 2008 Bottle courtesy of GMCC2181. Pours a hazy yellow with a quickly dissipating white head. Nose is mild peach and a bit of sour funk. Taste is peach at first but quickly moves to a sour citrusy taste. Lighter mouth feel but lots of prickly carbonation. Much more sour than I anticipated, but I enjoy this one. Thanks G-Man!
drfabulous (1212), Columbia, Missouri, USA Jul 9, 2008 Hmmmmm. Almost mead like. Bit sparkling. A challenge to use peach, and all respect to Dogfish Head. Worth the challenge. Worth the try. Respect the effort. If anything, it’s a shot at something different. smetrick (18), Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 9, 2008 On tap at Capone’s. A super dry blond weisse. Not nearly as yeasty as your typical wheat. Hint of fruit. This beer drinks light a brut Champagne. Low alcohol makes it a refreshing summer libation. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 8, 2008 You can definitely taste the peach. The main descriptive word that I can think of to describe this one is: fizzy. Not bad, definitely different (which is what Dogfish Head is all about, right?).
