| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 23, 2008 Hazy pale peach color, very hazy with a thin white head. Aroma is beautifully tart and refreshing, slight hints of funk, white grapes, and the peach. Flavor is jaw clenchingly tart. Mostly a lemony white grape juice type of flavor with the peaches just poking their head out toward the end of the sip. I think it’s great that DFH did this, I think we need more representation of this style (only 16 berliner weisses in the database, 10 brewers total). This is very quenching and easy to drink. 17thfloor (1447), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 22, 2008 Pours a slight murky golden yellow with large carbonation bubbles and basically no head. Sour wheat & wet bread aroma. Ouch! thats tart... much more in your face than any other Berliner Weisse I’ve had... way more sweet for sure. Very sour as well, acidic. Very faint peach taste, a nice compliment flavor. There is not much funk to be found in this one... which is a big component of Berliner Weisses. Soooo sooo tart. A little bit of wheat in the aftertaste. More like a soda than a refined beer, the carbonation is quite crisp. Remember warhead candies? dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 20, 2008 ah, i am imagining this one in a glass in front of me, and that sour smell coming out of the glass, man i can’t wait till summer and this one comes out again. the aroma is very tart, pours cloudy yellow. the flavor is exactly what you want from a Berliner Weisse, sour and tart kind of like lemon juice, with this there is a slight peach flavor. i could drink these all day. jcweaver (65), VA Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 18, 2008 Very good for a fruit beer and way better than the Aprihop. A great lighter beer with a taste of peaches all the way through. A nice balance of sweetness and tartness. Finishes smoothly. ThaBobfather (178), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2008 DFH went out on a limb to succeed with this berliner weisse. I paired it very well with 2 year old chedder and sausage. The right amount of peach flavor. Very good. unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 15, 2008 They weren’t joking about peaches in this. You get it from the first hint of the aroma to the last drop in the glass. The color is a nice golden orange, with heavy amounts of carbonation. There is a moderately large white head. The flavor is clearly peaches, the beer finishes very crisply. This is quite easy to drink.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 14, 2008 Milky yellow with soap sudsy head. Aroma of grassy hops, peach. Kind of earthy. Wow, this is tart! Flavor is very sour and overpowering with mild sweetness on the back end. A touch watery and astringent. nimbleprop (843), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 14, 2008 Poured at the Lupulin Reunulin event at the Brickskellar. Cloudy, rosy, slightly hazy yellow with zero head. Aroma is sour, tart, wheaty, with some grapefruit and yogurt. Flavor is extremely tart, grapes, wheat, lemons and sweet tarts. Finish is overly sour. This is a little too tart, a little too much lacto flavor, and in typical DFH fashion goes a bit over the top.
