| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Nose is lactic sour, peach, oranges, lemon zest. Flavor is a nice clean lactic sourness, clean crisp malt, clean citrus zest. Real clean beer, not bad. Nimrod979 (13), Hagerstown, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 6, 2009 Note: I tried this about 2 months back and didn’t like it. I found the last of the 4-pack in my fridge and decided to kill it off. Didn’t mind it so much this time but did notice that it was bottle on 5/5/08, which could have something to do with why i didn’t like it.
This beer pours a very pale, slightly hazy straw color with a thin white film of head that fades fast! Aroma is of sour peaches. Taste is similar to how it smells, slightly sweet, mostly bitter and if you REALLY try a slight wheat flavor before the bitter finish. Not really like a beer more of a tart, carbonated juice. Not much going on with the thin mouthfeel. I am a big fan of Dogfish and this is the least impressive brew I’ve had from them so far. arrogantb (700), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 1, 2009 This one had a white-yellow color, cloudy, white head disappeared fast as lightning, never to return again .Smell is a little sour but taste is also slight sour peaches, I can almost feel the fuzziness. Mouthfeel is very juicy, nice beer and the best I’ve had from DFH in a long while.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 1, 2009 A: Poured with a spare head that wasn’t so much really a head as it was a thin film. Body is cloudy and a light-yellow color.
S: Smells of light malt, and, of course, peach. Luckily, the peach isn’t overpowering at all; actually, I was quite surprised at just how mild it was.
T: Flavor is very sweet and peachy. Refreshing, short duration; really doesn’t taste too much like beer. I’ve never had anything like this before.
M: Light bodied with an oily texture, and average carbonation.
D: Like I said, very refreshing and different. Goes down easy on a warm summer day, but I think it’s too sweet for me to have more than one. Still, a very interesting beer that proves yet again that DFH is always willing to push the envelope. daleharshman (186), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 31, 2009 First rating of a Berliner Weisse. I recently sampled this at The Linkery and was intrigued, but opted for a stronger beer, but still wanted to find this and give it a proper rating. 12 ounce bottle from South Bay Drugs ($2.79). Pours a murky light yellow-amber color. What tiny bit there is of the off-white head quickly turns into absolute nothingness. Aroma of sweet-sour peach candy, champagne, and a bit of wheat. The nose reminded me very much of a mimosa made with peach or perhaps a wine cooler. Flavor is very tart with some peachiness that adds only a tiny bit of sweetness to the mix. Kind of like those sour peach candies you can get but even more sour. There is a lactic astringency that reminds me of the "tart" yogurt that has become very popular recently at places like Pinkberry. Nicely carbonated despite the absolute lack of head. I can see where this would be thirst-quenching, though. awiseman01 (342), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Aug 29, 2009 Bottle 07. Pours pale piss yellow into Stone IPA glass (not worthy this time). Nose is lemon tart, wheat grain. Taste is carbonated sour lemon drops and detestable wheat with a fizz overload. Bubbles go straight to the stomach turning into burps and gastrical nuances. Nothing I’d call pleasant by any means. I am hoping I picked up an old bottle...I don’t know what this was supposed to be! marcus (1850), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2009 This cloudy yellow beer poured with a fluffy white head and yeasty peach aroma. The flavor is sour lemon and wheat. It’s refreshing but not especially tasty.
