CheersMate1 (770), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Feb 20, 2008 Wow, this beer has a nice smell, but a non-beer type flavor to it. Looks like carbonated fruit juice. It has the taste of fruit flavored sparkling wine. People have mentioned the strong aroma and taste of champagne. This could not be closer to ther truth. The strong fruit aroma is decent. This beer has a nice translucent gold/peach color. When I say peach color I mean the inside of a peach and not the outside. The beer is somewhat tart, maybe the beer is a bit old. Anyways, the sparkling fruit wine flavor dominates. A slight presence of hops, I guess. The beer is relatively smooth, but palate doesn’t make up for the crap flavor. This beer is not something I could see myself drinking a lot. There beer would probably appeal to those who don’t like the "beer" flavor. jjuf1853 (467), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Feb 19, 2008 Bottle pours a hazy, unfiltered pale golden color. Mild sweet peach aroma, expected a more potent scent. Slightly sweet initial taste with a very tart aftertaste...nice! Interesting mouthfeel with lots of carbonation, almost champagne-like. Not your typical beer, but a very refreshing change of pace. badlizard (2325), Berkeley, California, USA Feb 18, 2008 Hazy yellow amber with a fizzy white head. Malty peach aroma, tangy peach seltzer taste. Decent. jlf278 (250), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Feb 17, 2008 12 oz. bottle pours an extra foamy huge head with some staying power. The aroma is decidedly less peachy than I expected. Taste is similarly not so peachy, but a very nice saltly sourness. Definitely my kind of sour ale. Overall, I wanted more peaches, many more. BelgianBeerGal (1276), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Feb 14, 2008 Bottled. Cloudy golden-yellow colour with a huge, foamy white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of peaches and white wine. Tart, sour peaches with a champagne-like finish. Interesting and rather enjoyable. jeff789 (359), Pennsylvania, USA Feb 13, 2008 Pale yellow-roseish color with a very quickly expiring head... Faint aroma of peaches, possibly a bit of apple as well... Flavor of tart peaches comes through before a quite carbonated finish... This was by far my favorite beer of this past summer... I love sour ales, and for me there is nothing better than a light refreshing tart ale in the summer time... This fits the bill to a T...(also, of my friends, i was the only one who like this beer, which, for my money, makes this beer even more appealing to me) RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA Feb 2, 2008 Pours a fully clouded straw. Nose is mild with a slight metallic tone to it with a slight bit of wheat yeasty funk. The flavor is where it’s at here. Tart rules the day with an obvious peach influence with what seems like a fair amount of lemony goodness mixed in. Tart and smooth. Gives a very balanced flavor ride. Feel is a bit thin on the liquid with a nice biting carbonation. Overall extremely drinkable. It’s a damn shame I bought a four pack of this. Geez. What ever will I do with it. TheJester (694), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Jan 31, 2008 12 oz bottle from radiomgb. Hazy piss yellow with a small, bright white, rapidly disappearing head. Smells like a white wine spritzer. Mouth-puckeringly tart. Lots of wheat, but I don’t get a lot of peach taste - makes me curious to try a straight berliner weisse. (The peach flavour increases as the beer warms). Sweet-sour finish. Very dry, and quite heavily carbonated. Very refreshing and drinkable. Thanks again, Jeff.
