thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 30, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy softly carbonated yellow colored body. The mild aroma was like a Georgia peach and made me sneeze. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a dull malty backing. The unlikeable flavor contained notes of malt and peaches. A horrible one that I would not buy again. The flavor was just too strange for me in a beer. Surprising for a good brewer like DFH. doubleo (1096), San Diego, California, USA Dec 26, 2007 Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head that hangs around for a while. Smells of citrus. Tastes of bitter citrus with a slight finish of the sour peach. Palate is thin, crisp, well carbonated
Odviously this is a fruit flavored beer you could drink all night and it’s low alcohol. aarossell (151), Grandville, Michigan, USA Dec 25, 2007 mediocre at best. bottle. it may be a bit old though, so this might not be a great taste test. well, regardless, it’s not that great tasting....
very light on everything. I expected a bit more flavor, whether in the malt or the peach. What I got was a cold beverage with some gentle peach flavor, carbonation, and a bit of heineken-like beer.
franksnbeans (265), Columbus, Maryland, USA Dec 24, 2007 Pours a murky pineapple juice color with no head or lacing. Smells a little funky with some citrus. Taste is very tart. Sour, some citrus and a bit of peach. Thin in the mouth with little carbonation. Good drinkability but I wouldnt be able to do more than one of these as a tart treat.
mvcramer (229), Arlington, Massachusetts, USA Dec 23, 2007 Something different, but certainly not one of DFH’s best. Worth a try and was an OK complement to some spicy sushi we were having.
Pours a pale yellow color with a thick head for this weisse style. Very faint aroma. I didn’t get much nose at all. Some faint fruity notes as it warmed, but nothing spectacular. Flavor is pleasant - subtle sweet peach that isn’t a dominating or in your face magnitude (thank goodness DFH knows enough not to over do things!). I liked it. Wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again, but it’s a good beer. ford9719 (369), Vilseck, Germany Dec 23, 2007 Bottle. Poured a very golden yellow with a thick white head very carbonated. Aroma is sour and kinda vinegar. Taste is very carbonated with a sweet hint in the finish. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA Dec 21, 2007 This was a great beer!
Cloudy yellow with a nice white head.m
Very faint sweet wine and peach aroma but with a big sweet-tart candy flavor but not so over powering that it didnt make me want to have another glass. A good change of pace. BossHossBikes (147), Tennessee, USA Dec 18, 2007 Bottle. Pour is a clear pale yellow with a very bubbly head that dissipates instantly. There’s a very soda-like bubble formation in the centre of the glass. The aroma is tart and smells of white grapes and kiwi with hints of peach. It’s very bubbly to the tongue and tastes very much like champagne. The white grapes and the dry tart of kiwi instantly becomes apparent. There is a light dryness in the crisp, tart finish that leaves your taste buds feeling empty, something I more commonly experience in a champagne. Peaches become more apparent in the finish, but not by much. It’s very interesting, but I don’t see myself revisiting this one.
