June 2008 Draft--thanx NjDevilz69....Cloudy lemon colored body (looks like lemoncello) with a fluffy off-white head, that shrinks down to a skimming....wheat and light peach aromas---this beer is wayyy too easy to drink...sour and peachy, but not overdone--lots of peach in the finish--good taste on the tongue, nice effervescence...very playful it is, quite playful...the tartness reminds me of lemonade....Rating reflects 2008 Draft after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Oct 31, 2007 12-oz. Pours crystal clear dark gold with a towering--and instantly dissipating--platinum blonde head. Big sour barnyard nose, but not sharp or overwhelming. Medium body, light carb, tart but not caustically acidic (nowhere near as punishing as, say, Kindl). Hay, lemon, grass, and floral notes emerge on the mid-palate and then your nose starts picking them up, too. Light, gentle lemony finish. Good stuff. golubj (1275), Sunnyvale, California, USA Oct 30, 2007 Bottle, courtesy of alexanderj. Very light cloudy blond pour, thin white head. Citrus (maybe peaches) and bananas and earthy malt in the aroma. Fizzy and grainy initial malt flavor, somewhat watery, with a sour fruit finish. I don’t think my peach was ripe. sneagrams3 (1704), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Oct 30, 2007 Tasted 10/22/07. 12oz bottle. Hazy and sedimented with a golden hue. Tight ring of white head. Musty citrus and orange aromas. Touch grainy. Bitter acidic and totally peachy. Musty and grassy. Yeasty and citrus. Big effervescence. Orange and lemon flavors. Tangy with a ton of layered fruity flavors. Lingering tart acidity. Vinegar and candy. The peachy flavors only accentuate the overall palate. Tasty. Miksu (2187), Jyväskylä, Finland Oct 30, 2007 12 oz bottle. Hazy straw color. Sweetish and peachy aroma with notes of minerals and tobacco. Wheaty, acidic, tart and peachy flavor with notes of watermelon. dogfishho (172), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA Oct 30, 2007 Pours a yellowish amber with a quickly dissapating, thin white head. The aroma is of fermenting grapes, sweet peaches, and the presence of the alcohol. The flavor is quite sour, though nothing compared to a gueze or lambic. There is mild evidence of the peach flavor, but the sourness is what dominates the flavor profile. The finish is short and tart. Mild for a sour beer, but not much going on beyond the sourness. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA Oct 29, 2007 Light, dry, sweet and, tart; kind of like a watered down sour ale lightly flavored with peaches. No big flavor in the finish. Ok beer for the heat of summer but nothing special. coldbrewky (716), Saugerties, New York, USA Oct 29, 2007 Pour & Head reminiscent of Hoegarrden big fluffy white head and a semi hazy deep yellow - Nose is of peaches and hints of alcohol. Head rocks down to a sawdusting in about five minutes. Brisk bitter/sweet peaches that nearly take your brewath away if’n your not ready for it. Acidity higher than expected. A nice change of pace but not my everyday choice.
