Cloudy yellow body with almost no head. Aroma has a lot of peach but not fresh just-picked-off-the-tree peach. More like Del Monte canned peach. Taste is more of the same, the peach dominate but there’s also light green apples and white grapes flavours. Rather sour and tart. Un unexpected dusty (yeast?) mouthfeel was not welcomed for a beer which main goal is to be a fruity refreshment. Hops are nowhere to be found. Peach just ain’t my favourite fruit. I can really appreciate fruity yeast developing a peach flavour but here we’re talking about pure peach concentrate, too much for me. Almost didn’t feel like a beer per say, more like a "cooler" drink although much better than the industrial coolers. Peach, yes, peachy, not really.

Tart, sour and acidic finish that shows as well in the aroma. Dry, crisp, and refreshing. The peach melds well with the earthy sour finish. Great beer for a hot day. Pours orange with a tall white head.

Bottle from Whole Foods 14th Street. Pretty nice. It’s fantastic to see Dogfish getting creative - or at least continuing to be creative. This is a little metallic.and maybe a touch watery with some noticeable peach juice added - though it’s still a pretty tart drink.

12-oz. Pours crystal clear dark gold with a towering--and instantly dissipating--platinum blonde head. Big sour barnyard nose, but not sharp or overwhelming. Medium body, light carb, tart but not caustically acidic (nowhere near as punishing as, say, Kindl). Hay, lemon, grass, and floral notes emerge on the mid-palate and then your nose starts picking them up, too. Light, gentle lemony finish. Good stuff.

Cloudy light yellow orange. Aroma of wheat with subtle tartness and peach. Super tart lemon citrus flavor. Very carbonated. Subtle peach softness in trace amounts. Light, dry, and tart.

Cloudy and light orange with a very thin head. Earthy-funky nose. Mouthfeel was light, crisp and quite carbonated. Drying finish. Malt flavors were light, grainy and doughy. Mild bitterness. Yeast aromas and esters in the middle of the sip were nice. Toward the finish, tart fruit flavors surfaced for a sec then went away fast. I had to keep taking sips to get them back. Aftertaste was curiously flat. Overall I thought the beer was decent and refreshing, but it kind of left me hanging.

Bottle from a 4-pack. Pours a very hazy straw yellow with a rapidly vanishing, effervescent head. Aroma is sweaty and a little cheesy, and no hint of peaches for me. Palate is light and finely carbonated, with a sour-funk and yeast backbone, light straw-like malts, and just the faintest hint of sour peaches. The finish is quick and very dry, and quite tart. I haven’t had many Berliner weisse beers, but this is comparable to the one or two others I’ve had. Kind of like a light sour ale and geuze combo.
