| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 25, 2007 Pours a thin hazy dull straw with thin bright white head. Full jar of peach preserves hits the nose first. Behind that I get sweetness, tartness, yeastiness, earthiness, denim blue jeans and playing cards. The carbonation causes the initial tart taste to burst onto the palate. It starts with an acidic like tartness and then becomes increasingly lemony. The peach takes the flavor from start to finish and adds some balance. There’s also a pale malt note that turns more into sweet malts by midway and then back to pale to Munich malts at the finish. Very nice summer brew. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 12, 2007 Pours with a really nice white head over a slightly hazy straw-golden body. Aroma of peaches. Simple and pure. Puckering sourness is a pleasant surprise. Flavor only whispers of peach. Clean finish. This is a style I am not yet accustomed to--I like it so far. Soft mouthfeel. Refreshing yet challenging at the same time. Good stuff. Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 8, 2007 Pale yellow, big dense white head. Citrusy, peachy aroma. Very clean, vary tart, very peachy, but the peach flavors do not overwhelm. In fact, The peach flavors are almost seemlessly blended with the tartness. Very refreshing, very tasty. michael-pollack (2733), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 16, 2007 Draught: Aroma of peach and Pilis-like malts. Poured golden in color with small white head that diminished slowly. Good lacing. Sparkling. Hazy. Flavor is medium sour but not sweet or bitter. Tastes of sour peaches and wheat. Quite delicious. Tastes just like commonly available sour peach candy. Light to medium body. Slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation. Bitter peach finish. Very tasty. Crisp and refreshing. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 6, 2007 Thanks to beastiefan2k for this bottle - very cloudy, yet glowing gold pour, with a large, fizzy, short-lived head - lemony aroma, with notes of grape skins and a very faint peach sweetness - tart lemon flavors up front, followed by slight lacto character, some dry, mineral-like qualities, and light wheat flavors - the peach becomes somewhat apparent in the finish - kind of refreshing, but lacking the complexity and crispness I expected it to have. nick76 (2684), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 16, 2007 I was put off by the aroma at first with it’s wild funky yeast and cheap malt smell but the few peaches that were in there were nice. The appearance is hazy pale gold with a decent head. The flavor is like the aroma with the peaches really making it drinkable with their tartness. The palate this thin. Overall I find it refreshing. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2007 (Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Pale yellow colour with brief white head. Tart, fruity nose with notes of apricots. Fruity, lactic, tart taste with notes of peaches and mandarin. The fruit stays in the background. Tart finish with some bitterness (not sure it comes from hops). Dry, refreshing, very different beer.
